Hey I'm updating my blog finally here is some pics from WoW:

Top is a level 1 Gnome I put into Ogrimmar so players and invisible troll roof stalkers could kill me, and the bottom image is of my alt mage with her epic flying mount. There it's been updated, happy now?

I'm Tired

A lot has happened in the last 3 weeks, and I just want to rest. My grandmother had a stroke (we think she will be OK), I've spent the last week shuttling my sister to and from LAX, looking after a house by myself, and getting constant third shifts at work (3:00 am-8:00 am). So what happens when I try to get some sleep? The fleet of gardeners come and decide that the grass next store is too long, and proceed to cut it down with the very loud machines. My sister and I are very tired, the mayhem just won't end.

I am looking forward to a lot of things this month however. A few games are coming out for my Wii, and there are some movies I'd like to go see. I need a rest, and I need some fun. I guess my life has been unhinged from the usual for the last month, and I not really liking it. It doesn't help that I'm broke either.

Diablo II Ladder Reset

Diablo II's Ladder has been reset, so no one has any items anymore. I decided I would play it again, at least for a little while, to kill time. Actually ladder reset a couple weeks ago I think, but since I wasn't playing the game at the time the change had gone unnoticed by me.

Anyways my sister and I are going to a John Williams concert tonight, if you don't know who he is go to Wikipedia and look him up. You may be surprised by what you find, hes has been a very influential person in the movie business. Well that's all for now, later...

StarCraft II

All right if you still haven't figured it out, I guess I'll tell you. The "mystery image" seen a post before last is some concept art from an upcoming game from Blizzard, called StarCraft II. I am a bit skeptical as to how good this game will be when it comes out, because Blizzard as been letting me down a lot lately.

Even though I play Blizzard's MMORPG: World of Warcraft (WoW), and the expansion, The Burning Crusade, the game is still disappointing to me for a number of reasons. I won't get into those right now because it's off topic. That's not the only thing they've dropped the ball on. They were also supposed to release a console game (on PS2, XBOX), based in the StarCraft universe called StarCraft: Ghost. After hiring an external company to develop this title, Nihilistic Software, they decided the company wasn't right for the project and "concluded their collaboration with Blizzard".

They took what Nihilistic had done with the game, and hired Swingin' Ape Studios to develop the rest. Blizzard continued hype for the game, publishing numerous press releases, and creating an official StarCraft II: Ghost web page with trailers and game play videos. Shortly after this Blizzard put an indefinite hold on production of the game, and merged Swingin' Ape Studios into Blizzard.

With the cancellation of ghost, and with many of the original StarCraft and Diablo (another Blizzard title) staff leaving the company to do other things, I remain apprehensive. Can Blizzard pull this off? I don't know, put I hope for the best. If you would like to see more of the game go to Blizzard's StarCraft II site, it has more details, flashy videos, and more artwork.

Second Overall

I just came back from a race weekend with my uncle (he drives a race-car), and he placed second overall out of twenty-five drivers, and defaulted to first in our class (because we are literally in a class by ourselves). I won't get into the details of the the race, because unless you are there watching the race, its just not the same. Trying to explain the minutia of a race through text would be too dull to honor the experience, since I doubt many of you are fans of the sport.

The weekend was at California Speedway in Ontario Mills, and damn if it wasn't hot. I'm talking 110+ degrees, my uncle and I both drank at least 2 gallons of water the first day, and were still so dehydrated at the end of the day, we both had stomach cramps when we got back to our hotel rooms.

I had worked from 3 am to 8 am the morning we set out to the track, I then went directly to my uncle's house after working, and helped pack the tools up for the weekend, drove through messy freeway traffic (thankfully the track isn't to far away from the house) unpacked all the tools, and drove back to my house. My uncle then joined my sister and his wife to go to a Police concert, and by the time they had come back to get me to go to his place, it was 12 am (22 hours without sleep). Every night after that at the track was less than 6 hours of restless sleep for me (in a noisy hotel next to a freeway). Four days of sleep deprivation, race track grime, ear-splitting engine noise, and intense earth-searing heat later, I'm in front of my computer completely spent. It was fun. Here is a picture of the car:

Not a great angle of the car if you've never seen it before, I know, but I don't have any other ones right now. Well I'm tired, and lazy, so your lucky that I typed even this much. I'll post again later sometime when I feel more.... I dunno. Whatever. Need sleep...

How Sick Is This Gonna Be, Yea!

I figured out a way to make the site a bit more flashy; decided to upload junk from the web. By the way this image isn't junk, it's a preview of something that I hope will be great. If you don't know what this is, then you need to crawl out from under that rock, and go sit in front of the computer and play some computer games until you figure it out (a dark room illuminates the computer screen, and is recommended).

Something New

A blog. Something new to do between working, playing games, and general lethargy. I thought the name "Unhinged" was exciting enough to ambush at least 20% of you into reading this blog, but don't think it describes any facet of my life for a moment. I don't have a digital camera or a SD Card slot on my computer, or the money to buy either, so I don't expect this blog to be all that grand until I solve these complications. If you want to see someone who is truly unhinged go to my mother's blog, maybe I'll post a link for it later...
